Start of a new photography season

Blooming heather always heralds the start of a new photography season for me. The mornings are cooler and foggier, the light is softer and the days are getting shorter (read: sunrises getting later). Summer is slowly coming to an end, so it’s time to go out again for landscape photography. Done with the days spent shooting Halloween and seasonal images indoors!

These are some images from the Heidestein Estate in The Netherlands. My first visit to this place, it’s not too large, but definitely a nice place this time of year.
