On the road: Cape Town and surrounds

Cape Town must be one of the most beautifully located cities in the world. Surrounded by the most stunning landscapes, it even includes a national park with the Table Mountain National Park. Beautiful beaches and mountains as soon as you leave the city and there’s the vineyards… ah the vineyards :).

But it can be windy too. Too windy for photography at times even, as we experienced while being sand blasted with our tripods (and ourselves) nearly toppling over on the rocks at beautiful Kogelbaai beach. But it was a perfect end to our trip through South Africa. Very sad to leave this beautiful and incredibly diverse country, but I’m leaving with many happy memories and another country added to the list of places to go back to someday :).
