The Palouse Falls in southeastern Washington state, a beautiful place, but not a good place to shoot if you have a fear of heights :)! In order to get the complete plunge pool in the frame, you have to stand on the very edge, with the camera and tripod slightly bending over, a cliff of over 100m high (330ft). There's no fence.
We were lucky with the light here this evening. Distant clouds had been slowly moving in from the southeast pretty much all afternoon. I feared they would cover all of the sky by the time the sun would set. But they didn't and the result was this beautiful sunlight shining from behind us on all the clouds right above the falls and the canyon. I'm definitely glad I got this shot and that my camera (or I!) didn't fall all the way down in the process of making it! :)
